A HELPING PAW
Support
A little help getting to the table. If you’re stuck, contact Gerry Khoo, the developer of Mahjong Paws™.

Getting started
Can I play offline?
Yes. No login is needed for offline play. Tap Free Play, choose an animal and select a rule style. Hong Kong is a good place to begin. Pip’s lessons introduce the tiles and guide you through practice hands.
Is there anything to buy?
No. Mahjong Paws™ is free, with no ads or in-app purchases. Scores are points only, and paw prints are earned by playing.
Playing with friends
- Open Menu → Play online → Make a room.
- Share the 6-digit room code or invite link privately with your friends.
- Join the same room to play together. Animal bots fill empty seats, so you can also try a room on your own.
Having trouble joining?
Check your internet connection and confirm the room code with the host. Make sure everyone is using the latest available app version, then try joining again. If it still fails, send us the error message and the steps you took, without sharing the private code.
How does voice work?
Hold the talk button at an online table to speak; release it when you’re finished. Voice is relayed and not stored. If you cannot be heard, check that Mahjong Paws™ has microphone permission in your device settings. If you cannot hear others, check your volume, audio output and mute settings.
Report, block or mute a player
Open the Players box at the online table to report, block or mute another player. Display names are filtered on the server. Avoid using personal information in your name.
Saved progress on iPhone
The iPhone app backs up progress with Game Center saved games. If progress appears to be missing, check your Game Center sign-in in iPhone settings and your internet connection. Contact support before deleting or reinstalling the app, as that may put local progress at risk.
Something else went wrong?
Try closing and reopening the app, and check for an available update. If the problem continues, email us with the details listed above. We cannot promise that lost progress can be recovered.
Privacy or deletion requests
